NutriVIbots MOBITREX!

Hi, there! Today Auntie would like to introduce, a new quality herbal supplement, NutriVIbots MOBITREX. If you have read Auntie's previous article on "What is Arthritis?", then you may have a general idea about this supplement. Alright, let's get to know our new friend MOBITREX.

MOBITREX is a supplement with 4 main ingredients (Bromelain, Curcuma, Quercetin, and Boswellia), which have anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. So. it is a good choice for those with arthritic problems! Surprisingly, MOBITREX also can be used to treat SINUSITIS TOO! This is because sinusitis also deals with the reaction of inflammation and immune response. For more info on the sinus, check out Auntie's "What is Sinusitis?" post.

Okay, let us get back to MOBITREX. MOBITREX can be taken as a single therapy or with other medications or supplements such as collagen or hyaluronic acids.

Why do you need to take MOBITREX?

Now, Auntie knows there are good medications for arthritis such as methotrexate and NSAIDs. However, these medications have many side effects that might affect your normal life.

For example, NSAIDs, a type of drug that used in relieving arthritic inflammation and pain, have the side effects of stomach ulcers (could lead to bleeding), diarrhea, headache, drowsiness, dizziness, allergic reaction, kidney failure, and hypertension/stroke (long term usage).

While the side effect of methotrexate (an anti-cancer and immune suppression drug) includes hair loss, anemia, drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, and liver damage when used for a long period of time. Furthermore, if you take both of these medications, the side effects could be worsened.

These are reasons enough for Auntie to suggest MOBITREX. Unlike NSAIDs and methotrexate, MOBITREX not only offers you a good treatment for your arthritic problems but also has very minimal side effects that sometimes, for some people, could be considered as no side effects at all. Now, let Auntie explain one-by-one about MOBITREX's active ingredients.

Bromelain

It is a crude, aqueous extract from the stem and fruit of the pineapple plant. It has been used as an herbal medicine for many centuries in treating inflammation. A group of researchers from the United Kingdom had done a study, and they discovered that Bromelain has shown significant anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects on relieving the arthritic symptoms and thus, improved one's lifestyle [1].
They also reported that there are no serious adverse effects shown, though a very small number of cases (<10 cases out of 126 volunteers) show minor side effects on the gastrointestinal tract, including flatulence, nausea, dry mouth. Hence, rest assured, as not everyone would experience these small side effects.

Quercetin

Quercetin is a bioflavonoid that basically present in most fruits, vegetables, grains, and even nuts. Quercetin has a lot of beneficial effects including anti-inflammatory, anti-histamine, immunosuppressive, protective elements, etc. This ingredient is the most suitable for rheumatoid arthritis and sinusitis.

According to Haleagrahara, et. al. (2017), Quercetin could give a positive improvement with the highest cartilage and joint protection and the lowest degree of joint inflammation and pain when given as single therapy. This is because Quercetin basically disturbs various different inflammation pathways. Too many, even Auntie couldn't explain all of it [2]. In MOBITREX, Quercetin is used as a replacement for methotrexate, due to its similar properties and has NO toxicity effects or serious side effects compared to methotrexate.

Curcuma

If you like having turmeric added to your cooking, then you have a lot of 'Curucma' in you. This is because Curcuma or Curcuma longa is actually a scientific name for turmeric, and has 3 main curcuminoids: curcumin, demethoxycurcumin, and bisdemethoxycurcumin. Now if you are a regular to your neighbourhood pharmacy, then must have heard 'curcumin' a lot. This is because curcumin of Curcuma has a lot of medicinal properties, including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, suppressive, and protective actions, which usually used in relieving inflammations.

K. Taty Anna et. al (2011), a group of Malaysian researchers, had discovered that oral administration (taken by mouth) of Curcuma gave positive effects by suppressing the inflammatory mediators and degenerative changes in arthritic bones and joints [3]. Just like other ingredients, there are no serious side effects were reported in any previous research studies [4].

Boswellia

It is a gum resin extracted from the Boswellia serrata tree that mainly grown in India. It has been used as arthritic therapy for centuries due to its specific inhibition properties on leukotrienes (a type of white blood cells' metabolic product)synthesis [5]. You see, leukotrienes are one of the causes of joint inflammation in rheumatoid arthritic people. It stimulates free radical damages, autoimmune response, cell adhesion, migration of inflammatory mediators into the inflamed joints.

So basically, leukotrienes are the initiators of the joint inflammations, and Boswellia blocks all of the leukotrienes' actions. Simple, right? But, Boswellia didn't do just that, it also helps in improving the blood supply at the inflamed joint so that it is easy to get rid of the causes of the inflammation and pains [5]. This finding is proven by Umar, et. al. (2014) where they found that Boswellia has significant anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative properties [6]. Boswellia, just like the rest of the ingredients, has no serious side effects that were reported.

A previous study done by Haroyan A. et. al (2018) had discovered that the combination of curcumin complex (Curcuma) and boswellic acid (Boswellia) is more effective in reducing arthritic pain and inflammations in osteoarthritis patients [7].

Extra benefit on SINUSITIS

Just like auntie said earlier, MOBITREX also helps you relieve your sinusitis, inflammation at the inner wall of your nose, and the inflamed areas were filled with fluid. Due to the inflammation and fluid-filled, the airway is blocked, causing difficulty for you to breathe.

Since MOBITREX's active ingredients, particularly Curcumin and Quercetin, have anti-inflammatory, immune suppressant, and potent anti-histamine properties, the inflammation can be reduced and clear off the fluids on the affected areas, especially in the sinus. This will allows you to breathe easier. In Mlcek, J., et. al. (2016), a reviewed paper on Quercetin studies, they explained that the mechanism of action of Quercetin on sinusitis is by the inhibition of several numbers of enzymes and inflammatory mediators, which then relieve the nasal inflammation [8]. Other researchers such as Wu, S. & Xiao, D. (2016) have found that Curcumin has the capability to improve nasal airflow and modulates one's immune system response in allergic rhinitis people [9].

In conclusion, MOBITREX offers you a better way of living by treating you arthritic and/or sinusitis problem, with minimal non-serious side effects. So get your MOBITREX now from Auntie's online shops at Shopee and Lazada
